Aloha Visitor
If we haven't yet seen you or if you are still holidaying (jealous!) then Happy New Year to you!!
Don't you agree that this month has already gone way too quickly and February is upon us next week... we've really dived right in to 2017! Which has made me think 'how can we live our lives to the fullest?'.
After recently watching the inspiring documentary on Minimalism it would appear that life would be better with less. Over the Christmas break I tried to implement my interpretation of this doco and did not just a wardrobe cleanse but a house cleanse - removing the things that no longer serve me or were really just 'stuff and things'... clutter. It also made me rethink what is important to me and how I could make better use of my time to spend on what I really value that brings me happiness (as it clearly will never be stuff and things!). It also kind of made me reflect on my old self, like I was mourning who I once was but also seeing how far I have come and how much I have changed and that these changes cannot be taught but only learnt through life experiences. Making life more simple and less complicated and not feeling like you must be 'busy' all the time because society thinks you should is rather liberating. I feel like I can better focus on the now and “Begin at once to live and count each separate day as a separate life” - Seneca.
There's some food for thought and I hope you can also implement some changes in your life each day to be more present, less distracted and allow you to live life to the fullest!
We Are Open On Australia Day Coco's will be trading from 10am - 4pm!
